Israelis hysterically claim Iran "already has a nuclear bomb" & more war-mongering from AIPAC
Of course, objective analysts recognize the absurd propaganda stunts coming from Israel and her partisans for what they actually are: an attempt to drag the West into yet another war on Israel's behalf. Just as the Iranian government is making progress with the international community, including the United States, regarding it's alleged "nuclear weapons" program, The Times of Israel released the following ridiculous news item:
Some Israeli government analysts believe Iran already has at least one nuclear bomb, an Israeli journalist wrote in an article published Friday.Just when you thought the hysterical, unhinged Iran demonization campaign could not get any more absurd, it does.
Shalom Yerushalmi, writing in the national daily Maariv, said that “government security sources up to date on development in Iran,” told him recently that Tehran has crossed all points of no return and already has its first nuclear weapon, and maybe more.
The report marks the first time a government official has been quoted saying Iran already has a nuclear weapon. No sources in the piece were named.
The information, if true, would mark a major shift in international relations and would be a game changer in terms of a regional power balance.
“It’s too late for Israel [to prevent an Iranian bomb]. Iran has crossed all the borders and all the constraints, and it has a first nuclear bomb in its possession, and maybe more than that,” Yerushalmi writes, basing himself on what he says is the assessment he heard this week from state security sources. ”We are facing a historic change in the strategic balance of forces in the region.” [...]
In a typical display of what passes for "journalism" these days, the Israeli writer bases all of his allegations on unnamed sources from the Israeli state security services and military, as if this were some sort of professional, objective journalistic practice. This type of "journalism" is literally criminal, in my opinion, and this "journalist" should be arrested immediately. Deceitfully propagandizing the public and political establishment to launch yet another war in which millions of innocent people will be murdered is absolutely criminal.
"Journalism" these days is nothing more than official stenography: "journalists" receive talking points, press releases, and other official statements from government and military officials, and then regurgitate the information to the public as if it is somehow objective, fair, and balanced. That is what qualifies as "professional journalism" today. The mass media in many cases actually operates as the public relations arm of the government and the interests that control it, concealing, downplaying, or even justifying the crimes committed by the ruling elite.
American Free Press, the last real newspaper in America today, proudly proclaims: THE MEDIA IS THE ENEMY. And they are exactly right. The media's role is to deceive and program you, not to inform you or "hold politicians to account." The sooner you recognize that, the better off you'll be.
The Jewish Daily Forward is reporting that AIPAC, the pro-Israel Jewish lobby that for all intents and purposes controls the United States Congress and political establishment in Washington, D.C., will continue to push a "tough line on Iran," despite their utter failure to get the United States to bomb and destroy the sovereign nation of Syria.
Emerging from a losing and ultimately aborted congressional battle to win approval of military action against Syria, the mainstream pro-Israel lobby is now launching a new drive to set the terms for a potential nuclear deal between the United States and Iran.It never ceases to amaze me just how conceited and arrogant the organized Jewish community is. All you have to do is read their own newspapers to understand just how powerful and influential they themselves admit they are.
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee is launching its campaign — one much closer to its core concern — in reaction to the flurry of communiqués that Iranian leaders have unleashed lately. In their diplomatic and media offensive, the Iranians have announced their keenness to negotiate a mutually agreeable solution to the related problems of international sanctions against their country and Western opposition to their nuclear program.
AIPAC’s initial response to Iran’s diplomatic blitz has been less than welcoming: Its lobbyists have initiated an effort in Congress to mandate a new set of tougher sanctions against Iran, while the group has warned publicly against showing too much flexibility before Iran’s newly elected president, Hassan Rowhani, backs up his words with deeds.
“Pleasant rhetoric will not suffice,” the lobby declared in a September 20 memo to its supporters. “If Iran fails to act, sanctions must be increased.”
AIPAC has viewed Iran’s nuclear program as a key concern for the past two decades and has dedicated much of its lobbying activity to the issue. It has, in fact, been the main supporter of most of the U.S. sanctions legislation targeting Iran, and has spoken out about the need to keep a military option prominently on the table when dealing with Tehran’s nuclear ambitions. [...] Pro-Israel activists say they remain confident that Americans will understand the need for maintaining a tough policy toward that country’s development of its nuclear program, which they argue threatens not just Israel, but also the West. They cite, among other things, a long record of congressional support for a hard-line approach to Iran, and years of public advocacy aimed at explaining the danger of a nuclear Iran to the American public.
“The Iranian issue is different than the Syrian one,” said Seymour Reich, a former chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. Reich, who favors diplomatic engagement with Iran, believes that the American public will accept the pro-Israel community’s adherence to a policy of “trust but verify,” as formulated at the time by President Ronald Reagan when negotiating with the Soviet Union. The Jewish community’s support for military action against Syria, he added, did not cost it any credibility and will not diminish its ability to advocate now for caution when engaging with Iran. “I haven’t seen any adverse reaction to the Jewish community’s support for the president on Syria,” he said.
Not a week goes by without some sort of public relations stunt designed to perpetuate and reinforce the fake Jewish "Holocaust" narrative of WWII, along with the myth of "Jewish persecution" and "the rise of anti-Semitism". This week, of course, was no different. Have a look at this article appearing in The Times of Israel:
On January 27, 2014, the largest ever delegation of Knesset members will convene overseas, on the grounds of Auschwitz-Birkenau, together with Holocaust survivors, for a historic gathering on combating anti-Semitism and preservation of death camps.Combating "anti-Semitism" and perpetuating the myths of WWII are two of the primary activities of the organized Jewish community. Lobbying for more war against Israel's enemies using Western military and financial might is yet another important activity undertaken by the organized Jewish community. Also, demanding more tax-payer money for Israel and organized Jewish groups, in addition to culturally and socially polluting and corrupting Western society, are at the top of the list as well. One has to wonder when the American public will finally recognize the insidious nature of organized Jewry.
The symbolism could not be any more striking — mere meters away from the gas chambers where millions of Jews were once murdered, the representatives of the parliament of the Jewish state will meet.
The event will be held on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a memorial day in honor of the 6 million Jews who perished during the Holocaust. 2014 will also mark the 69th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau by the Soviet Army and Allied troops in 1945. [...]
