Bread and Circuses

In order that the masses don't figure out what they are really doing we will further distract them with amusements, games, pastimes, passions, luxury homes.... Via the media, we shall soon begin to propose competitions in art, and in sport of all kinds: these interests will finally distract their minds from asking questions which we would definitely not want to answer.
                                             -The Protocols of Zion
                                                       From Protocol #13- Distractions

The term "Bread and Circuses," or maybe more appropriately called "Entertainment and Circuses" in this day and age, is an age old metaphor for superficial means of mass appeasement and a way for the powers that be to manufacture public approval.  The ultimate example was on display earlier this evening in Dallas at the Super Bowl halftime performance.

Watching the Black Eyed Peas perform a brief rendition of their hit "Where Is the Love?" while the United States government, and other murderous regimes around the world which it supports, continue to prosecute a fraudulent war against a faceless enemy based on the false flag attack of 9/11 is simply astonishing.  The crime and murder spree unleashed since 9/11 is arguably unprecedented in history, and most seem too distracted by the "Bread and Circuses" being offered up by the political establishment to notice, let alone care.

btw, i understand why you would offer the video. but i won't be clicking it. i'll use my 12 minutes of web time for other, less "distracting" pursuits.

  2. Please don't waste your time. It's actually quite toxic for your brain to watch stuff like that. You know that already, I'm sure.

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment James.
